Certified Sterile Processing Tech (CSPT) Evening Shift
Location: St. Louis, MO
Shift: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Biweekly starts available

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Certified Sterile Processing Tech (CSPT) to join our team for an evening shift position in a busy community hospital. If you have a passion for supporting surgical services and a proven track record in sterilization and reprocessing, wed love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle 250-300 trays daily and ensure proper sterilization and assembly of instruments.
  • Reprocess a variety of surgical instruments/trays including Ortho, DaVinci, ENT, Spine, Neuro, Open Heart, GYN, General, and Cysto.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure decontamination and case cart assembly are accurate and timely.
  • Support an average of 50-55 surgical cases per day in collaboration with the surgical team.
  • Utilize your expertise to provide sterilization for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in a community hospital setting.
  • Weekend on-call requirements: Saturday/Sunday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, as needed, approximately every 4-5 weeks.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in Sterile Processing, with specific experience in Ortho, OB/GYN, Plastic, ENT, Cardiovascular/Thoracic, Laparoscopic, Urology, Robotic, Ortho/Totals, Neuro/Spine, and Neuro/Crani.
  • Experience in sterilization, decontamination, assembly, wrapping, case carts, and equipment documentation.
  • IAHCSMM certification required.

First-Timers Accepted: Yes
On-call Requirements: Yes, as needed on weekends (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, every 4-5 weeks).
