Our school is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate 1:1 nurse to provide specialized care for a student with complex medical needs Near North Bend, WA.This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a student's health and well-being, enabling them to thrive in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized medical care for a student with G-Tube, tracheostomy, and diabetes.
  • Administer G-Tube feedings, manage medications, and ensure proper nutrition.
  • Monitor and maintain tracheostomy care and respiratory status.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team and family members for coordinated care.
  • Conduct health assessments, glucose monitoring, and insulin administration.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and educate staff on the student's needs.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and promote student independence.

Qualifications:

  • Valid nursing license in Washington.
  • Pediatric nursing experience in a school or clinical setting.
  • Experiencein G-Tube, tracheostomy, ventilator, and lifting.
  • CPR and basic life support training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, organized, and independent.
