Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Caseload: K-12th grade
Location: Near Hammond, IL
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school community near Hammond, IL. This position offers the opportunity to work with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing essential speech and language therapy services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on speech articulation, language comprehension, and social communication skills.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and IEP development.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience working with a diverse caseload in a school setting, including K-12th grade.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
