Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the repair and regular maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a heavy manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Process Engineer, the Maintenance Technician will perform breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance activities throughout the plant with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus and a relentless pursuit of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Perform breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Provide training to less experienced maintenance staff.
  • Repair electrical circuit boards and electrical controls.
  • Work with mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and electrical systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair production or processing equipment.
  • Fabricate machine guards and install or repair conveyors.
  • Replace motors and tear down or replace pumps.
  • Maintain fluid collection and distribution equipment.
  • Repair electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Work with both AC & DC crane repair.
Essential Skills
  • 2+ years of technical training in maintenance and repair techniques.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Electrical repair experience.

Work Environment

The position operates on a first shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5 AM to 3 PM, with overtime available on Fridays. The work environment involves a heavy manufacturing setting with a focus on safety and efficiency.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00
