We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Tampa, Florida, United States. In this role, you will be expected to work diligently on various accounting tasks, including the month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries. You will also lend support to the Controller for additional projects and assist the AP/AR teams.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reports

• Conduct thorough account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity

• Ensure accurate and timely posting of journal entries

• Provide support to the Controller on various projects as needed

• Assist the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams in managing any backlogs

• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation

• Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliation

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the general ledger structure

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of General Ledger

• Ability to manage Journal Entries

• Must be CPA or CPA eligible
