Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking an Audit Sr. - Public in the CPA industry to join our team located hours west of the twin cities. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping our clients manage their accounting and financial reporting needs. You will be the point of contact to ensure our clients' financial operations and controls meet standards and are error-free. Responsibilities:


• Implementing new accounting standards and providing on-call accounting advice

• Assisting clients in navigating complex accounting matters arising from regulatory or strategic business changes

• Ensuring client's financial operations and controls meet standards and are error-free

• Analyzing financial statements to identify errors or discrepancies

• Developing and executing audit plans and programs

• Conducting audit engagements and finalizing audit findings

• Utilizing QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online for various accounting functions

• Building long-lasting relationships with clients

• Delivering best in class advice to clients on their financial operations

• Providing proactive solutions and recommendations to clients for their financial reporting needs.

• Minimum of three years of experience in public auditing
• Proficient in Audit Program, Auditing, and Audit Plans
• Experience in Accounting Functions and Audit Engagements
• Expertise in using QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online
• Proficient in analyzing Financial Statements
• Experience as an Audit Senior is required
• Ability to understand and interpret financial statements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is an advantage
