Job Overview: Are you a skilled Speech Language Pathologist seeking a remote opportunity in Oregon? VocoVision | ProCare Therapy is offering a full-time, 1099 contract position for a Virtual SLP. This role provides the flexibility of working from home while delivering essential speech and language therapy services to K-12 students throughout Oregon.

Position Highlights: As a Virtual Speech Language Pathologist with VocoVision, you will:

  • Conduct Teletherapy Sessions: Provide remote speech therapy to a diverse caseload of K-12 students using advanced telehealth tools. Your virtual sessions will help students improve their communication skills effectively from anywhere.
  • Collaborate with Educational Teams: Partner with teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and school nurses to develop and implement tailored therapy plans that meet each students needs.
  • Perform Online Evaluations: Carry out comprehensive virtual assessments to gauge students speech and language abilities, and contribute to behavior plans and crisis management strategies.
  • Focus on Key Therapy Areas: Apply your expertise in critical speech therapy areas including cognitive therapy, dysphagia management, and articulation improvement to support student success.

Required Qualifications: To qualify for this remote SLP role, you need:

  • ASHA Certification: The Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). For more details, visit ASHA Certification.
  • Experience with Infants: Preferred experience in providing therapy to infants, though it is not mandatory.
  • Oregon State Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Oregon. Ensure compliance with state teletherapy requirements.
