We currently have multiple openings for Setup Machinists for a company in the Milford area on 1st shift, Pay is $20+ overtime
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and Calibration: Prepare and set up CNC machines and tools according to job specifications.
- Programming: Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to program machines for optimal performance.
- Operational Monitoring: Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and make adjustments as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure their optimal functionality.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all setups, adjustments, and measurements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Setup Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CNC programming and operation.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
