Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Welder & Fabricator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints and assembling machinery or products for a new production line. The role involves cutting, shaping, welding, bending, repairing, and joining components, primarily focusing on tube fabrication, structural welding, and thick wall tubing.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and assemble machinery/products for a new production line.
• Cut, shape, weld, bend, repair, or join components.
• Perform framework tasks.
• Check measurements and dimensions of each piece using rulers, measuring tapes, or squares.
• Place each product component in its appropriate spot for proper alignment using tools like hammers, pry bars, jacks, or wedges.
• Identify spots to cut and manipulate steel, plastic, or other materials by cutting, hammering, bending, or grinding.
• Use furnaces or hand torches to heat materials for flexibility in bending or manipulation.
• Review blueprints, drawings, and other specifications before and during the fabrication process to ensure accuracy.
• Operate fabrication machines such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears, and flame cutters.
• Create templates for repetitive fabrication tasks to ensure consistent work quality.
