Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 36-40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $20$25per hour, based on experience

ProCare Therapy is working with a reputable school district in Gettysburg, PA, to find a reliable and enthusiastic Paraprofessional to join their team. In this full-time, in-person position, you will work closely with teachers to support students in both academic and non-academic settings.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and want to make a positive impact on students lives, helping them to succeed and grow in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with classroom activities, providing individualized support as needed.
  • Help students with special needs follow their IEP goals by providing extra guidance and support.
  • Support teachers in managing classroom activities, including setting up materials and aiding with group work.
  • Assist students during transitions between activities and ensure they are on task.
  • Monitor students behavior and provide encouragement to keep them engaged in their studies.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to identify students strengths and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher is a plus
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as part of a team
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping students
