Location: Kansas City, KS
Dates: July 29, 2024 May 21, 2025
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday
Hourly Rate: $35/hour + Starting Bonus

Job Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a motivated Special Education Teacher to join a high school team in Kansas City, KS for the 2024-2025 school year. This role focuses on providing resource support, including pull-out instruction and teaching in a class-within-a-class format, specifically for high school reading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and small group instruction in a resource setting
  • Support students through pull-out sessions and in-class teaching
  • Develop and implement specialized reading interventions
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure effective inclusion strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed

Qualifications:

  • Valid Kansas Special Education teaching license required
  • Experience with high school students preferred
  • Strong skills in reading instruction and intervention strategies

Compensation:

  • $35/hour, with a Starting Bonus offered
  • Benefits: Dental, health, vision, 401K
