Business System Analyst

Contract Duration: 10+ month with potential to Convert or Extend

Location: Remote - Must reside in US

Work Hours: Standard

Qualifications/Skills Needed:

Walk me through the day to day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project (Outside of Workday JD):

The product that my team supports is Provider RTR and we are responsible for making provider data we source from multiple systems available in real time via an API and in some cases Kafka topic for other applications to consume in order to support front end systems such as Find a Provider to support servicing our members.
Day to day responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following…
1) Work closely with Product team to understand and business requirements and expectations, and then translate those business into more technical requirements for the developers and be the liaison between them.

2) Deep data analysis, reconciliation, help with data mapping and any gaps.

3) Help with items such as Audit’s , compliance, technical documentation.

4) Work across teams and collaborate on accomplishing single goal.

5) Help with testing and UAT.

Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team:

follow the Client's Leadership Competencies model, as well as goal setting, and will be having regular 1 on 1’s as I do with rest of my team to have 2 way communication around performance and meeting goals.
What previous job titles or background work will in this role?

Systems Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Software Engineer. Experience working with data analysis, running queries, in relational databases with a nice to have of noSQL databases such as MongodB. Knowledge of Json structure. Experience working with product and business and transforming business requirements into technical requirements to be understood by developers. Background in testing out software and data changes, as well as supporting product and business with UAT, and providing guidance. Knowledge of or experience with AWS is another preference. Background with Agile development cycle and understanding of Agile best practices.
