Austism Support Classroom Teacher

Are you skilled in the field of Special Education and looking for an opportunity to support an Autism classroom in the new year?ProCare Therapy is currently looking for a dedicated and patient Autism Support Classroom Teacher to join one of our trusted school districts situated in the vibrant community of Kingston, PA.As a Special Education Teacher in this role, you will provide direct instruction, individualized support, and guidance to students with Autism. You will work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective learning strategies that align with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Job Description

  • Full-time
  • M-F
  • ASAP start - June 13, 2025
  • Elementary caseload
  • 1st-3rd
  • Approx. 8 students on caseload
  • In-person

    • Bachelor's degree in Education or higher
    • Active PA Teaching License
    • PA SPED Certification with Autism Endorsement
    • Current and Active PA Clearances
    • Willing to complete the required onboarding processes of both ProCare Therapy and the school district (if required)
    • Able to develop and implement IEPs while coordinating with internal departments
    • Comfortable collaborating with other teachers and staff to achieve student success
    • Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
    • Reliable transportation
    • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
    Interview Process
    • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
    • 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
    • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview
    As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
