RPh on the go is seeking aPharmacy Technician to work days (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM).
Duration: 13 weeks, with the possibility of direct hire
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join a retail pharmacy team for a 13-week contract position, with the potential for direct hire. As a Pharmacy Technician,
you will be responsible for supporting the pharmacist in providing excellent customer service, medication preparation, and dispensing, while adhering to all pharmacy laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the pharmacist with medication dispensing and preparation.
- Provide patient education on proper medication use, as needed.
- Ensure all medications are accurately filled, labeled, and stored.
- Process medication orders and verify correct information.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and stock rotation.
- Handle prescription refills and insurance verifications.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean and organized.
- Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Competitive pay, based on experience.
