School Psychologist Needed for the 2024/2025 School Year in Kennewick, WA

Location: Kennewick, WA
Employment Dates: ASAP - End of School Year (EOSY)
Hours: Full-time
Caseload: K-12 students
Pay: $52 - $58/hour depending on experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Kennewick. This role is essential in supporting the mental health and educational needs of our diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and testing.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies for students with diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student well-being and academic success.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address student needs and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Support crisis intervention and contribute to creating a positive school environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Proven experience working in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students.
  • Strong understanding of psychological principles and educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adapt to different locations and student needs.
  • Masters degree in School Psychology.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.
