Job Description

Technician performs the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform the set-up and testing of more complex systems and mechanical assemblies.
  • Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
  • Follow test process instructions (TPI).
  • Determine test specifications, methods, and procedures from statements of work (SOW).
  • Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems.
  • Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
  • Unpack, package, place labels, and crate as needed.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned.
Essential Skills
  • Troubleshooting software and hardware.
  • Reworking test equipment.
  • Hardware testing.
  • Software installation and testing.
  • Computer skills including downloading software.
  • Electronics knowledge.
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with Linux and C++.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of basic office applications such as word processors, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting or networking computer components.
  • Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to work on ladders or stools.
Work Environment

Our facilities are spread across multiple buildings and are part of a large company. The work environment involves exposure to ESD and loud noise, requiring ear protection. You will be working in a fast-changing, high-growth technology environment that fosters collaboration and excellence.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $24.00
