Position: Quality Technician and Machine Shop Support

We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform Quality Technician and Machine Shop Support duties. This position will play a key role in various quality and manufacturing support efforts, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Inspect precision machined products using a variety of precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, profilometers, portable CMM, and laser tracker CMM. Inspections will be conducted both in-process and upon completion.
  • Purchase and maintain production tooling and shop supplies.
  • Expedite raw material and subcontract purchase orders, directly communicating with vendors.
  • Conduct hydro-pressure testing.
  • Develop and maintain quality reports based on inspection and test data.
  • Communicate quality findings and concerns to the Quality Director and/or management.
  • Perform receipt inspections of raw materials and subcontracted processes, including physical inspections and document/specification reviews.
  • Ensure that measuring and test equipment is calibrated according to WPT quality programs and that it is stored and functioning correctly.
  • Maintain quality records and procedures.
Manufacturing Quality Technician Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience in a machine shop environment.
  • Proficiency with manual measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts, including fractions, ratios, and angles.
  • High level of visual awareness and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and self-motivational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain focus on tasks.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Pay Details: 25.00 to 30.00 per hour
