Our client, a real estate company, is looking for a temporary Junior Accountant to assist their design and construction team in their Boston, MA office. This role will focus on handling invoice processing, ensuring accurate cost coding, and facilitating smooth communication with vendors.

 

This position starts asap and will be ongoing while they work on their permanent search.

 

Location: Boston, MA

 

Hours: 9am – 5pm

*Hybrid Schedule

 

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage and process invoices related to design and construction projects
  • Accurately assign cost codes to invoices to ensure proper allocation of expenses
  • Interact with vendors to gather necessary information for system setup and address any inquiries
  • Ensure that insurance certificates are obtained and processed as required
  • Utilize DocuSign for electronic document management and signatures
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in invoice processing, preferably within a design and construction environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with DocuSign
  • Experience with AIA (American Institute of Architects) billings is a plus
  • Team player mentality, while also being able to work independently
