Job Description

Intake Specialists will be stationed in the receiving department and responsible for hooking up and offloading milk tankers that come into the facility to deliver products. The role requires basic connections of flexible piping to transfer liquids. Additionally, Intake Specialists will document the weight of liquid received and input the data into a computer system. This role involves climbing onto tankers to install hose connections, so candidates must be comfortable being 5-7 feet above ground for brief periods.

Responsibilities

• Hook up and offload milk tankers in the receiving department.
• Perform basic connections of flexible piping to transfer liquids.
• Document the weight of liquid received and input data into the computer system.
• Climb onto tankers to install hose connections.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of steady employment
• 2 years of forklift or equipment operating experience
• Ability to climb one flight of stairs up to 10-15 times per day
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Experience with forklift, warehouse operation, or equipment operation

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• Data entry skills
• Experience working in a farm or construction environment

Work Environment

This position involves being indoors and outdoors throughout the day. Work hours are either 2am - 10am or 9am - 5pm, with specific schedules to be discussed during the first week of employment. Candidates must be open to working Monday through Sunday but will be scheduled for only five days a week. Hours on Saturday are paid at 1.5x rate, and Sundays are automatically paid at 2x rate. Shift allocation will be coordinated with two other Intake Specialists, allowing for flexibility and rotation as needed or preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kaukauna, Wisconsin.

The pay range for this position is $21.10 - $21.10
