Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:
• Execute and manage journal entries for routine transactions, ensuring they are properly posted in the appropriate accounts and accurately documented.
• Perform general accounting tasks including account reconciliation and maintenance of the ledger.
• Assist in monthly close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Develop financial reports for management to review, providing valuable insights into the company's financial status.
• Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system for efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Handle additional tasks related to accounting operations as needed.
• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries to perform duties efficiently.
• Ensure all transactions are documented and posted accurately.• Proven experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrable experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Solid understanding of General Ledger operations
• Experience in making Journal Entries
• Excellent analytical skills for handling complex accounting data
• Strong ability to work with financial software and MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining clear, concise financial records
• Good communication skills for presenting financial data to non-financial staff members
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
• Professional certification (such as CPA) is a plus.
