Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSupervisor: Janesville, WIOur customer in Janesville, Wisconsin is seeking a motivated person for a full-time Supervisor position to join their team and help grow their manufacturing operations. The Supervisor’s overall responsibility is safety, quality, production and facility cleanliness, work closely with the Assistant Plant Manager on scheduling, and maximize equipment and personnel efficiencies.  Responsibilities of the Supervisor:
  • Go through each fork-truck at the beginning of shift and complete checklist.
  • Make sure all exits are free and clear of obstructions.
  • Ensure employees are working in a safe manner.
  • Act as the point person on the shift to instruct employees on where to go in case of emergency. 
  • Do periodic quality checks on each winder throughout the shift, at least 2 to be done on shift. 
  • When changeovers are occurring please be at line to help a new employee with additional training. 
  • First piece sign-off for any new customers.
  • Ensure paper is put away properly as this will affect quality. 
  • Train, coordinate, motivate, and develop production employees.
  • Receiving, warehousing, and material handling during the shift to ensure that all machines are running smoothly. 
  • Coordinate when possible break times so that machines don't stop. 
  • Plan walk throughs to see where each machine is in the production cycle. 
  • Set goals for each machine and evaluate where each machine is at in reaching the goal. 
 Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work shifts assigned and overtime as needed.
  • Reliable transportation.
 Pay for Supervisor: Starting at $21-$23+/hour, depending on experience.  Supervisor Benefits:
