Job Description

This position is for a 3rd shift Welding Lead who will act as a working lead, eventually leading a team of 3-10 people. The role involves welding, running fabrication equipment, cutting metals, and ensuring products flow through the shop efficiently. You will be MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel to produce exhaust systems for various industries, including power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, construction, and off-road markets. Tack welding and assembling exhausts will also be part of your duties, although most work will be a mix of custom and production style MIG welding. Understanding blueprints and weld symbols is crucial, as is the ability to perform a variety of tasks throughout the shop. You may also assist with fabrication work such as running a brake press, shear, and roller as needed.
