Job Description

We are seeking a Janirto and Sanitation Associates who can help maintain the integrity of product safety and quality in a food manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include maintaining a high level of cleanliness and sanitation, complying with all safety and quality laws and regulations, and performing general industrial cleaning in production areas. You will operate cleaning equipment to maintain floors, empty waste containers, and clean and disinfect various areas within the facility. Additional duties include washing and dusting walls, equipment, and other surfaces, and reporting any defective materials or issues. Occasionally, you may assist in other production utility operator activities.

Qualifications:
  • At least one year in industrial sanitation/janitorial
  • Experience in sanitation within food manufacturing is preferred
Hours:

Janitor : 8AM - 4:30PM Monday - Friday

Sanitation: 4PM - 11:30PM Monday - Friday

Work Environment

Food Manufacturing Environment with varying temperatures (105&degree;F hot and 68&degree;F cold). The facility has both hot manufacturing operations and cold chocolate cooling/packaging operations. You must comply with all safety and hygiene requirements, including wearing uniforms, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and other safety gear as necessary. The role involves standing and walking for prolonged periods, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, and lifting in excess of 50 lbs. daily.
