Payroll Clerk

We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join our team in the professional services sector based in Fresno, California. In this role, you will be responsible for handling payroll functions, conducting training sessions, and ensuring the accuracy of payroll records. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Review and manage payroll exception reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Provide comprehensive training and presentations to a range of end users to facilitate understanding of payroll processes

• Assist in various payroll functions as needed, ensuring efficiency and adherence to established guidelines

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ADP Workforce Now to streamline payroll processes

• Conduct regular audits on payroll records to identify and rectify any discrepancies

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and perform other accounting functions as necessary

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the execution of payroll functions

• Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Oversee and maintain the accuracy of customer credit records.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential.

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is necessary.

• Proficiency in using About Time software is required.

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions effectively.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is essential.

• Auditing skills are a must.

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions is necessary.

• Experience in an education or university setting is preferred but not required.
