As an Expediter you will:

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• Lift up to 35lbs
• Coordinates with Customer Service, Engineering, Shipping and Production, as well as outside vendors, to assure smooth operation and on time delivery of material and product to various stages.
• Confers with production personnel to resolve problems affecting production schedules.
• Attends Production meetings to report status of work in progress and coordinate with other departments to assure efficiency of workflow.
• Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
• Maintain work order integrity including quantity accuracy, splits and lot control and sizing.
• Contacts departments  to verify movement of goods on specified date.
• Arranges for distribution of materials upon arrival.
• Contacts appropriate departments to requisition materials, pieces, assemblies etc., necessary to meet on-time production.
• Moves product between departments using carts or dollies, or forklift.

This is a Full-Time 1st Shift Opportunity.

Pay Rate: $25-30/hr

The ideal candidate will have:

• ITAR Compliant
• High school degree preferred
• Forklift Experience
• Lean manufacturing experience or background. Strong problem-solving skills
• Floor Experience
• ERP system reporting and analytical capabilities
