NEW School Psychologist Position

Position Overview: As a School Psychologist, you will be an integral part of the educational team, providing essential assessments, counseling, and support services to help students navigate their academic and emotional challenges. This role is perfect for professionals who are mitted to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations to assess students cognitive, emotional, and social development
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and therapeutic support to students experiencing social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and provide support during critical situations
• Lead workshops and training for staff on mental health issues and effective intervention strategies

Requirements:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Valid Louisiana state license as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in a school environment preferred
• Strong munication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
