Job Title:Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location:Detroit, MI

Position Details:

  • Hours:Part-time (Flexible schedule).
  • Start Date:ASAP
  • End Date:Through the current school year, with the possibility for extension.
  • Location:Onsite in Detroit, MI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students to identify areas of need.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy to students, both in individual and group sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
  • Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech and language-related goals.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Michigan state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting (preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
