Special Education Teacher
Location: Chester, PA

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team in Chester, PA. This role is dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs through individualized instruction, intervention strategies, and close collaboration with parents and school staff. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating inclusive educational environments and be mitted to helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students specific learning and behavioral needs
  • Deliver differentiated instruction that supports a variety of learning styles and developmental levels
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to achieve IEP goals
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and regular munication with parents to report on student progress
  • Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a safe, structured learning space
  • Keep current with Pennsylvania special education laws and policies to ensure program pliance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Experience working with students with special needs in a school setting (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and behavior intervention strategies
  • Excellent munication and collaboration skills for working effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Adaptability, patience, and creativity in meeting diverse student needs and supporting classroom success
  • Knowledge of IDEA and state regulations regarding special education services
