Our reputable CPA firm is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team in the capacity of Tax Staff - Public. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax preparation and a strong understanding of IRS forms. The successful candidate will be required to work in a team-oriented environment and contribute to our commitment of delivering outstanding customer service.


Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Rigorously preparing and filing corporate tax returns while ensuring absolute compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  2. Expertly handle individual tax returns, using a profound knowledge of IRS Form 1040.
  3. Employing IRS Forms 1099 and 1120 in the preparation and filing of specific tax documents.
  4. Collaboratively interacting with team members to promote efficient and accurate tax preparation.
  5. Utilizing expertise in Corporate Income Tax, Estate Tax, and Federal Income Tax Return to effectively fulfill job duties.
  6. Stay current with frequent updates and developments in tax regulations, informing clients promptly of any potential impact on their respective tax returns.
  7. Utilize your proficiency in IRS Form 1120S and IRS Form 1120F to address and satisfy client requests.
  8. Regularly monitor client accounts to understand the tax scenario, and taking necessary action based on their financial and tax situation.
  9. Professionally respond to customer inquiries in a timely and respectful manner, promoting customer satisfaction.
  10. Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records, and proficiently process credit applications.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Excellent understanding of tax forms and other IRS regulations.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in tax preparation for a public accounting firm.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Solid understanding and application of accounting and financial principles.

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
