EVS Aide - Mission Viejo

Location: Mission Viejo, California

Pay Rate: $23.00

Job Description:

As an EVS Aide, you will ensure a clean and sanitary environment in a hospital by performing tasks such as cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, and handling floor care duties. You will also complete work orders like trash removal and spill requests.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain patient rooms, including trash removal, linen cleaning, and floor mopping.
• Perform laundry duties.
• Collaborate with nurses and hospital staff.
• Clean lobbies, elevators, and hallways.
• Complete work orders like trash removal and spill requests.
• Perform floor care tasks such as stripping, buffing, and waxing floors.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in janitorial, housekeeping, and cleaning duties.
• Knowledge of custodial and sanitizing practices.
• Experience with mopping, sweeping, buffing, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and handle exposure to blood, urine, vomit, etc.
• Basic English speaking skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1 year of high-volume experience in environments like hospitals, hotels, schools, universities, office buildings, sports arenas, or amusement parks (preferred but not required).

Work Environment:

This role is based in a hospital, requiring interaction with medical staff and handling various cleaning tasks. The environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and adherence to cleanliness standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00
