Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in the process of hiring a Sr. Accountant to join our team. The role is based in LEWIS CENTER NT, Ohio, 43035-8660, United States. The Sr. Accountant will be tasked with managing account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management, among other duties. This is a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Undertake the reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency in the financial records
• Execute balance sheet reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of financial data and the integrity of financial statements
• Carry out bank reconciliations to keep track of banking transactions and ensure financial transparency
• Oversee general ledger management to maintain accurate financial records
• Conduct inventory cycle counts to keep track of stock levels and ensure that inventory records are accurate
• Handle the month-end close process to finalize financial transactions for the month
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for financial reporting and analysis
• Prepare journal entries to record financial transactions in the accounting system
• Perform annual physical inventory to verify the quantities and condition of items in stock
• Oversee the cycle count program to regularly validate inventory accuracy.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant or relevant role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Familiarity with financial software such as Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite.
• Strong understanding and experience with Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.
• Solid knowledge of General Ledger functions and procedures, including Journal Entries.
• Experience with Month End Close procedures.
• Ability to manage Annual Physical Inventory and Cycle Count.
• Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of current financial regulations and accounting standards.
• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a team and independently when required.
