Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in drafting design for gas distribution projects from inception to completion.

Job Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree required

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience

  • Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS, BlueBeam, or similar design software

Preferred Skills:

  • NY State Engineering License

  • Experience with STORMS / Maximo or other work management software

  • Previous gas utility engineering experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering design and analysis for gas distribution projects

  • Prepare general layout and final construction drawings

  • Collaborate with operations, project sponsors, and union design/drafting staff

  • Coordinate with permitting municipalities and engineering support service providers

  • Prepare assembly and detail designs of mechanical and structural projects

  • Design dimensional details to avoid interference with equipment and structural members

  • Prepare bill of materials for construction projects

 

 Pay: 42-57

Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
