We are in search of a Tax Corporate Manager to join our clients team based in West Des Moines, Iowa. The role involves a range of duties revolving around corporate tax management across various aspects of the business – reinsurance, investments, provisions, reporting, and analysis. This role provides an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute substantially to our operations.


Hands on working corporate tax manager position. Touch and see it all, not a siloed position in a niche specialty. Be a part of a team of 4 total with a lot going on. This mostly remote position gives a top talented Tax Manager the ability to be involved all aspect of business – reinsurance, investments, provisions, reporting and analysis all of it. 

Primary Position responsibilities:

·      Need INSURANCE TAX experience.

·      Monthly, quarterly, year-end reporting.

·      Tax Provisioning, Reinsurance, audit, and Tax returns.

Remote role with expectation of being onsite in Des Moines monthly for meetings. Candidates must have a BS in Accounting, CPA preferred and at least 5 years of insurance tax experience To $150K DOE


Responsibilities:

• Handle corporate tax management tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all processes.

• Engage in the preparation and execution of monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting.

• Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel and Ad Hoc Reporting to maintain and analyze data.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant corporate tax regulations and guidelines.

• Manage tax provisioning, reinsurance, audit, and tax returns processes efficiently.

• Contribute to the overall corporate income tax and annual tax provision strategies.


• The applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with Ad Hoc Reporting is necessary.
• Familiarity with compliance procedures, particularly in the context of corporate tax.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Corporate Income Tax.
• Experience with Corporate Tax Compliance is a must.
• Familiarity with annual tax provision and statutory accounting is essential.
