Job Description

We are seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for a job shop specializing in metal products. Our diverse portfolio includes industries such as semi-trailers, recreational vehicles, utility trucks, and avionic structures. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for both reactive and proactive maintenance, along with facilities and grounds maintenance. The role involves working on equipment such as laser cutters, break presses, punch machines, robotic welders, benders, stamping presses, and lifts.

Responsibilities
  • Perform reactive and proactive maintenance on various equipment.
  • Conduct facilities and grounds maintenance.
  • Work on laser cutters, break presses, punch machines, robotic welders, benders, stamping presses, and lifts.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Essential Skills
  • Electrical Industrial Maintenance Experience (480v, 3-phase, electrical cabinets, circuits)
  • Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Experience (hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings)
  • Team Player
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • PLC experience
  • Lift maintenance experience

Work Environment

The position is for the 2nd shift, running from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and voluntary overtime. The work involves using advanced machinery and maintaining a diverse range of metal products.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marion, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00
