ProCare Therapy is delighted to announce a part-time opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-25 school year in Monument, CO. This position involves working 24 hours a week with a manageable caseload of fewer than 20 K-5 students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations of students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
  • Provide speech therapy services in both individual and group settings.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering valuable insights on speech and language needs.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Colorado license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with elementary school students is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
