Position: School Psychologist (Full-Time, Contract)

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position within school districts in the Loveland, CO area. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about promoting the mental, emotional, and educational well-being of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators.
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to support students social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop effective strategies for classroom management and student support.
  • Monitor and document the progress of students receiving psychological services.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education and psychological services.

Requirements:

  • State Licensure: Must hold a valid Colorado state license as a School Psychologist.
  • Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Certification: Certification by the Colorado Department of Education is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a school setting is preferred, with a solid understanding of special education laws and best practices.
  • Clearances: Ability to pass a background check and any other state-required clearances.
