Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Swiss Lathe Machinist to join our dynamic job shop. Our facility takes on a variety of jobs across different industries, with a significant portion of our business dedicated to archery products. The successful candidate will primarily focus on lathe machines but will also be utilized for other machines as needed. This role involves programming, setting up, and machining parts independently.

Responsibilities
  • Program, set up, and operate Swiss lathe machines.
  • Machine parts according to specifications.
  • Utilize different machines as required.
  • Work on various jobs across different industries.
  • Ensure precision and quality in all machined parts.

Work Environment

Work in a well-equipped job shop with a variety of machines, including Swiss lathes. Our facility operates on a first shift from 6am to 2:30pm (with potential extension to 4:30pm). Employees enjoy a 40-50 hour work week with no weekend work, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
