Position Overview Were hiring three Special Education Teachers to work onsite with high school students in emotional support classrooms. This position involves supporting students with special education needs and addressing their emotional and behavioral growth. The role includes collaborating with educators, participating in IEP meetings, and implementing individualized learning plans.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct support and instruction to high school students with emotional support needs
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
Foster a supportive, structured environment to promote emotional and behavioral growth
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians
Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions
Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
Requirements
Active Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching License (Required)
Experience working with students in emotional support programs preferred
CPI (Crisis Prevention & Intervention) training preferred but not required
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Passion for fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
