Job Description

We are seeking Forklift (Reach Truck/Stand-Up) Operators to work in a cold storage environment. The warehouse is maintained at roughly 34 degrees, and the freezer at 4 degrees. Cold suits and gear are provided on day one. As a forklift driver, you will be responsible for picking orders in the warehouse based on the computer screen on your forklift. You will be loading pallets and preparing them for shipment to customers. Comfort with operating a tablet/computer and good attendance, especially during the training period, are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Operate Reach Truck/Stand-Up forklift in a cold storage environment.
  • Pick orders based on computer instructions on the forklift.
  • Load pallets and prepare them for shipping.
  • Ensure good attendance, especially during the training period.
  • Comfortably operate a tablet/computer.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings.
  • Knowledge of Reach Truck operation.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and material handling.
  • Skill in using stand-up forklifts.
  • Proficiency in picking, loading, packing, and shipping.
  • Experience with RF scanners and order picking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience as a warehouse worker, order selector, or order picker.
  • Comfortable working in cold storage conditions.

Work Environment

You will be working in a cold storage environment with temperatures around 34 degrees in the warehouse and 4 degrees in the freezer. Cold suits and gear are provided. Shifts are available for both day and night, with detailed schedules as follows: Day 1: Sun-Tues 6AM-6PM, Wed 6AM-noon. Day 2: Wed noon-6PM, Thurs-Sat 6AM-6PM. Night 1: Sun-Tues 6PM-6AM, Wed 6PM-midnight. Night 2: Wed 11:59PM-6AM, Thurs-Sat 6PM-6AM.
