Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Five Points, FL
School Year: 2024-2025
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: August 5, 2024 - May 29, 2025

About the Role:

Are you an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist ready to make a difference in Five Points, FL? We have a full-time position available for the 2024-2025 school year. This role involves delivering essential therapy services to students in a supportive and dynamic school environment.

Your Impact:

  • Role: Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Setting: Onsite, serving students from K-12
  • Caseload: Manage a diverse caseload within one or two school buildings
  • Focus: Provide both direct and indirect therapy services to enhance students' functional skills

What You'll Do:

  • Assess and Plan: Perform comprehensive assessments and create individualized therapy plans.
  • Intervene and Support: Deliver direct therapy services and collaborate on indirect support.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster student development.
  • Monitor and Adjust: Evaluate and adjust therapy plans based on student progress.
  • Engage: Offer engaging and effective therapy tailored to student needs.

What Were Looking For:

  • Licensure: Active Florida Occupational Therapist (OTR) license required.
  • Experience: Prefer candidates with prior school-based experience; open to K-12 students.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills.
