Job Description
To be able to work safely and follow all safety guidelines. Identify safety problems and develop solutions. Oversee and organize all operation activities. Lead team members to implement production safely, efficiently, and accurately based on safety regulations, standard operating procedures, checklists, quality standards, production planning, etc. Set day-to-day operational objectives for the team. Responsible for ensuring policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders. Responsible for timely submission of employee time recording records and PTO requests. Responsible for training and development of direct reports. Assist with implementation of lean methodology and health, safety, and environmental practices. Coordinate maintenance issues with the maintenance department. Ensure proper packaging of the product and develop better cost-effective methods for packaging.
