Teletherapy Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time Opportunity in PA

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 6/12/2024
Hours: 6.5 hours per day; accepting both full-time and part-time applicants.
Caseload: K-5 students, approximately 13 students/day. AAC experience preferred.
Pay Range: $50-55/hour based on experience.
Credentials Required: CCC-SLP, Pennsylvania SLP license, PA Teaching Certificate, and required PA clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students speech and language needs through virtual assessments.
  • Design and implement custom therapy plans to address specific student goals.
  • Provide virtual speech and language therapy that is engaging, interactive, and evidence-based.
  • Support students using AAC devices, offering guidance and technical support for families and teachers.
  • Collaborate with school teams to meet IEP requirements and ensure student progress.
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, adhering to school district and Medicaid requirements.
  • Regularly update therapy strategies to align with current best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification required.
  • Active Pennsylvania SLP license and PA Teaching Certificate required.
  • Proficiency with virtual therapy platforms and experience troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Experience with AAC devices is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
