Volt is immediately hiring an Electronic or Mechanical Repair Tech in Oakdale, MN with a well-known industry leader.

This is a first shift position.

As a Repair Tech you will:

  • Diagnose and repair Healthcare hardware (electronic or mechanical) devices.
  • Troubleshoot, clean, and repair customer devices;
  • Generate/process service repair documentation to maintain repair traceability and facilitate customer invoicing;
  • Create repair estimates including the costs of service parts and labor;
  • Maintain local service parts inventories with the support of the Materials Control team
 Estimated Duration up to 24+ months.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in operating common tools and testing equipment required to repair such devices.
  • Be able to operate a PC utilizing the Microsoft Windows operating system and have basic, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with other Functional groups including customer service, depot repair technicians, and management in order to facilitate effective depot service operations
Education:  Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Preferably, the candidate will possess training from a two-year technical school or have job experience in a technical field or industry.

Pay Rate: $22.90 per hour
