Position Overview:

  • Type: Full-time, on-site, school-based
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
  • Location: Perkasie, PA
  • Caseload: Provide 1:1 support for a K-12 student
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Openings: Multiple positions available

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 behavioral and academic support to students, tailoring interventions to individual needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, school psychologists, and families to ensure the best outcomes for each student.
  • Work with students who have a variety of needs, including emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
  • Implement individualized behavior plans, positive reinforcement strategies, and adaptive learning techniques.
  • Provide support for students with autism, aggressive behaviors, and medically fragile conditions.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, helping students thrive academically and emotionally.

Qualifications:

  • For RBT: Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • For Paraprofessional: Prior experience in behavioral support or special education is preferred
  • Must be comfortable working with diverse student needs, including students with high support requirements
  • Ability to pass a drug and background check
