Job Description

As a Panel Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling panels for refrigeration houses, which are commonly found outside grocery stores. Your role will involve running wires to complete the assembly of these panels and following schematics for the builds. You will use hand and power tools to perform the assemblies.

Pay: $20 an hour

Responsibilities
  • Assemble panels for refrigeration houses following schematics.
  • Run wires to complete the assembly of panels.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for assemblies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Work collaboratively in teams of 3-4 people.
Essential Skills
  • Electrical wiring from a manufacturing or construction experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Capability to stand for 10+ hours a day.
  • Ability to regularly lift 20+ lbs and occasionally lift 50+ lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Mechanically inclined individuals willing to learn electrical wiring are encouraged to apply.
  • People currently in school with relevant skills are also considered.

Work Environment

This role is based in a large manufacturing building where units are built in teams of 3-4 people. The environment is fast-paced and well-lit, though it can get dirty due to the nature of the work. While there is no air conditioning, we have fans to maintain airflow. Steel-toed shoes and long pants are required every day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
