Job DescriptionJob Description

LHH is seeking a Sales Support Specialist for a client in the manufacturing industry. The Sales Support Specialist will play a critical role in assisting the sales team to drive revenue growth and support customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for handling administrative tasks, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring a seamless sales process from order placement to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Management: Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness from entry to delivery.

  • Sales Support: Assist sales representatives by preparing quotes, proposals, and contracts, and managing customer inquiries.

  • Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding order status, product availability, and other inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service.

  • Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the inventory and logistics teams to confirm product availability, coordinate shipping schedules, and resolve any order-related issues.

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM and ERP systems, including order tracking, customer interactions, and sales activities.

  • Reporting: Generate and analyze sales reports, track key metrics, and provide insights to support sales strategies.

  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as invoicing, product documentation, and preparation of sales materials.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field preferred.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a sales support or customer service role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems (experience with SAP or Salesforce is a plus).

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

    • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in an ERP or CRM system and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Employment Type: Temp to Hire

Location: Indianapolis, IN (fully on-site)



Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
