SLPA Opportunity - Maternity Leave Coverage

Soliant is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide maternity leave coverage in a school district near Kewaskum, WI. This full-time position will run from December 11th to March 11th and involves working with an early childhood to 5th-grade caseload across two school buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in early childhood through 5th grade
• Document therapy sessions, monitor student progress, and assist with data collection
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to facilitate therapy integration within the classroom
• Prepare materials and resources for therapy sessions as needed

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a related field
• Valid SLPA certification for Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain certification)
• Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Availability for full-time hours (35 hours per week) from December 11th to March 11th
