Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team and support daily operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining efficiency by optimizing loads, managing inventory using RF scanning equipment, and ensuring the safe handling of valuable items. This position requires diligence, good hand-eye coordination, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

  • Package finished products for shipping, including shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
  • Verify purchase orders and work orders to ensure accurate assembly and readiness for delivery.
  • Perform inventory maintenance tasks, including inventory counts and stock level monitoring.
  • Load finished products onto trucks and unload shipments into designated storage areas.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure no damaged products are shipped or stored.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment.
  • Secure loads before transportation and handle inventory movement in controlled areas.
  • Pick, wrap, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Provide support to other warehouse departments as needed.
  • Optimize load arrangements to ensure operational efficiency and meet safety standards.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and warehouse management protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ pounds) and perform strenuous physical tasks.
  • Knowledge of warehouse principles, practices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Physically fit, agile, and comfortable working in various conditions, including heights and varying weather.
  • Solid attendance record and a positive work history.
  • Available to work extended hours as needed.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
