Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Performing preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and perform repairs as needed to ensure minimal downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints while maintaining equipment.
- Working independently or within a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Other responsibilities may including pipefitting, welding, or fabricating various materials.
Candidates must have a journeyman card OR at least 8 years of hands-on maintenance machine repair experience in a manufacturing environment. If you have a journeyman card, you can take a mechanical assessment test at 60 days of employment, which may increase your pay to $32.85/hr. Non-journeyman maintenance technicians have opportunities for pay increases after 90 and 135 days. There is a 60-day probation period before joining the union. These positions are open due to a retirement wave.
