Soliant Health has an immediate opening for a Clinical Pharmacist for the Emergency Department at a larger hospital in North Carolina. This is an ideal opportunity if you have recent experience working in the Emergency Department and don't mind working overnights Must have North Carolina Pharmacist license in-hand at the time of application.

Position:Night ED Pharmacist
Setting: Hospital
Duration:13 Weeks
Shift:Night Shifts - 7on/7off
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process medication orders in the busy Emergency Department.
  • Provide expert consultation to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy.
  • Monitor and assess medication therapy for efficacy, safety, and appropriateness.
  • Maintain accurate records, ensuring pliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the development of quality improvement initiatives and pharmacy-related protocols.
  • Ensure timely and accurate dispensing of medications in accordance with patient needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in high-stress, fast-paced situations.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • At least 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) pharmacy experience, including handling ED pharmacy orders preferred.
  • Active NC Pharmacy License required.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
